The Best Western South Beach is a collection of small, historical, art-deco hotels that were built over a period spanning from the 30's to the 50's. The hotel is only blocks from the beach, and just steps from popular nightclubs, restaurants, bars and trendy shops. The Best Western features a small fitness room, a 24-hour business center with Internet access, and a small, heated pool, which overlooks the sidewalk.
The guest rooms are typically small, as is the norm in this area, but they are equipped with modern comforts. As these rooms are distributed throughout four different buildings, they vary with interior corridor or exterior corridor entrances. There is small courtyard area, and the pool are is one of the few in South Beach that are actually landscaped. Although the neighborhood is decidedly up-tempo, it is quieter than Ocean Drive. The Best Western also sits opposite a police station, which should allay guests' concerns about security in the area. The famous 11th Street Diner, is around the corner and open 24 hours. Inexpensive, enclosed municipal parking is located nearby.
