This four-story Art Deco hotel is located on Collins Avenue in trendy South Beach, one block from the ocean. Lincoln Road Mall and the Miami Convention Center are both only three blocks away. Lummis Park, with a broad, sandy beach, is one block away and provides numerous water sports as well as running paths and play areas. Constructed in 1937, this renovated Art Deco building still displays many original features, including murals, terrazzo floors, wrought-iron railings, and period furniture. A private, landscaped courtyard offers a wading pool, and parking is available at independently operated lots nearby (surcharge). As a part of the Penguin Resort, guests of the President Hotel have private access to Ocean Drive and the beach through the Penguin Hotel, which is adjacent to the President Hotel.
