The Waldorf Towers has an amazing location on Ocean Drive. If you've ever seen a picture postcard of South Beach hotels, behind a row of Palms, then you've probably seen the Waldorf Towers. Located opposite the beach, next to Mango's, and in the middle of the action, this hotel has a location that can't be beat for the complete South Beach experience. The staff is known to be extra friendly, the ambience warm and the rooms to be especially clean. The onsite TIME Café and Bar offers al fresco dining, on a terrace facing Ocean Drive - excellent for people watching. It also offers room service during regular restaurant hours, and there is a bar in the lobby, too.
The guest accommodations are attractively decorated and feature contemporary furnishings. The rooms are small, but comfortably appointed, and feature DVD players, small fridges, and "white noise" machines to suppress any external noise (this is, after all, an extremely lively neighborhood). The Compass Market, located just off the lobby sells food, sundries, and international magazines and newspapers. Guests need only stroll across the street, through the palm-lined park to get to an excellent beach. Ask the front desk staff to assist with tickets, reservations and other services.
